Aaron Testard, LMFT, LPCC, è uno psicoterapeuta che esercita privatamente a Chicago, IL e nella San Francisco Bay Area in California, con oltre 20 anni di esperienza. Per 7 anni è stato direttore dei programmi clinici presso il Pacific Center for Human Growth, un centro di consulenza e sostegno LGBTQ, dove ha progettato e implementato servizi di psicoterapia per individui, coppie e famiglie, 24 gruppi di sostegno per adulti tra pari e un programma giovanile di doposcuola. Ha anche formato e supervisionato numerosi tirocinanti nel corso degli anni ed è stato consulente per la salute mentale della comunità LGBTQ per cliniche e organizzazioni locali. Aaron ha trascorso la maggior parte della sua carriera come specialista LGBTQ. Ha lavorato anche come consulente per le dipendenze, consulente per le scuole superiori e consulente per un programma di reinserimento dei criminali. Nella sua pratica attuale, si concentra sull'identità sessuale e di genere. Lavora con adulti, adolescenti e coppie e si consulta con medici in tutti gli Stati Uniti.
